Hank's Haven

Hank's Haven is a Unity based project I worked on as part of an internship with the NC State Libraries. It was created for the purpose of demonstrating the 2D functional capabilities of a cylindrical projection room in Hill Library at NC State University. Me and a coworker collaborated to create this suite of minigames, drawing inspiration from mobile games and traditions at NC State.

Takeaways

During this project, I worked primarily on the gameplay mechanics such as player movement, objective systems, and obstacle spawning/destruction. In order to make these mechanics feel good, I utilized many of the gameplay systems including UI, music, and sound to develop responsive gameplay loops.
